Biggest LoserBiggest Loser

Giraffe Interactive announced in February 2012 its intentions of bringing The Biggest Loser brand to fresh produce. Sage Fruit Company has been chosen as the exclusive apple, pear, and cherry supplier for the brand. Together, we are committed to the encouragement of healthy eating, and healthy living, and we look forward to growing our business, and yours, with this new and exciting opportunity.

In July 2012, we launched our Biggest Loser cherries, and in September 2012, at the beginning of the 2012-2013 apple season, we debuted our Biggest Loser apples. Along with Biggest Loser branded packaging, Sage Fruit offers a variety of Biggest Loser themed secondary display bins and point of sale marketing materials. All packaging and materials feature Biggest Loser messaging aimed at educating consumers about the health benefits of apples, as well as how they can include more fruits and vegetable in their diets.




Sage Sweet

Sage Sweet is a unique produce marketing program designed to provide the consumer with the same sweet taste guarantee across a variety of apples. Beginning in the month of December, we are able to offer our Sage Sweet bulk items to customers, and in January, we are able to start offering our 3# bag items. During harvest, each lot is tested to determine program potential. Using a non-invasive procedure, we are able to guarantee a high brix level, as well as the firmness of each apple placed in our tray pack boxes and bags. Our standards guarantee that every apple packed in Sage Sweet has great taste and crunch.

Sage Fruit Company has several different secondary display bins to offer our retailers.

Each bin is designed with high graphics and full color art. They are specific by category to highlight each individual product offered. The display bins are small enough to utilize in all areas of a store. This versatility allows for displays to be utilized throughout the store in high traffic areas such as the front of the store and as a tie in to other promotions and categories such as the dessert and baking isles. By doing so there is increased exposure to each promotion and by utilizing high traffic and other store areas this dramatically increases spontaneous sales.
