Bing: The Bing cherry is the leading commercial sweet cherry of the western states. The fruit is firm, juicy and almost black when ripe. Its flavor is sweet and rich. The Bing has become the standard by which other varieties are compared.

Availability: Early June to Late June

Rainier: Due to its very sweet and delicate flavor, the Rainier cherry is known as having a superior flavor to most varieties. It is a very attractive yellow cherry with a red blush. Its flesh is very firm and finely textured.
