ONE SEASON-LONG POOL

The owners of Sage implemented a season-long pool for each variety. We are not constrained by the multiple period pools or account sales used by most warehouses. This means that we can provide high quality fruit whenever you need it.

QUALITY CONTROL

Sage employs two full-time quality control people who oversee all aspects of the fruit. They evaluate it in the field while it is being grown and in the warehouse as it is being harvested. This valuable information allows the sales force to project their inventories into the future. In addition, quality control monitors the fruit while it is in storage, being packed, and before shipment to make sure that it meets Sage's high standards.

Sage has multiple warehouses packing fruit so it can have product available for you. As part of our customer service we consolidate loading whenever possible to maximize efficiencies for you. Products

LIVE INVENTORIES WITH WAREHOUSES

Sage has a state-of-the-art software link with all of its warehouses so it has inventories of the fruit as it is being packed. We have current inventories, the location, when it was packed, and who grew it. We have the ability to trace each box of fruit from the receiver back to the location and time (within an hour) of being packed and all the way back to the grower. This allows us to set the standard for quality control and trace inventories to protect your orders.

Sage has the software, hardware, and in-house expertise to conduct electronic data interchange (EDI) or business-to-business over the Internet.
